Pueblo Bonito Rosé Resort & Spa
📍 Introduction
For the past 12 years, Pueblo Bonito Rosé Resort & Spa has been a go-to destination for my family, offering an unbeatable combination of affordability, hospitality, and beachfront access. Nestled right along the sands of Medano Beach, this resort provides breathtaking views of the Cabo Arch, direct beach access, and a short water taxi ride to downtown Cabo San Lucas.
Over the years, the resort has become a familiar retreat, with staff who remember us visit after visit. However, while the scenery and service remain top-notch, the quality of food and resort activities has declined in recent years.
🍽️ Food & Drinks
Breakfast is the highlight—the custom omelet bar is a must! Fresh ingredients and made-to-order dishes make for a solid start to the day.
The main bar by the beach serves great cocktails with fresh flavors, making it a perfect spot to sip and watch the waves.
The all-inclusive plan rates a 6/10—it’s decent, but compared to other resorts, the variety and quality have dropped in recent years.
If you’re looking for a fine-dining experience, you may want to venture into town for some local favorites.
🏡 Living Spaces
I stayed in a standard suite with two queen beds and a pullout couch—comfortable for families or groups.
Cleanliness & Comfort: Solid 8/10—the rooms are well-maintained, and the air conditioning is a lifesaver in the Cabo heat.
Balcony views are a major plus—overlooking the entire resort, it’s a peaceful place to relax or get work done.
Room amenities: TV, mini-fridge, and daily housekeeping keep the space feeling fresh and convenient.
🤝 Service
The best part of the resort—the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and available 24/7.
Many of the employees remember returning guests, which adds a personal touch to each stay.
Concierge and beach service are always on point, making sure you’re well taken care of throughout your stay.
🌍 My Experience
Why I keep coming back:
Great pricing for a beachfront resort in Cabo.
Amazing staff who truly care about guests and provide excellent service.
The location—easy access to the beach and downtown Cabo.
Favorite memories:
Scuba diving excursions organized through the resort.
Themed event nights & experiential dinners—which, unfortunately, have become more rare in recent years.
Downsides: The resort used to host more events and festivities, creating an immersive experience for guests, but those seem to be lacking now.
🚆 Accessibility
Airport to Resort: Roughly a 40-minute drive from Los Cabos International Airport.
Getting around:
Walkable to town or a short water taxi ride to explore Cabo’s nightlife and dining.
Right on the beach, making it easy to go from room to ocean in minutes.
Final Verdict: Would I Recommend It?
Yes, with some caveats. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, family-oriented beachfront resort with outstanding service, this is a great option. However, if your priority is top-tier all-inclusive dining and immersive resort activities, you may want to explore other options.
That being said, for the price, location, and incredible staff, Pueblo Bonito Rosé Resort & Spa is still one of the best-value stays in Cabo.
